Gourd Art Class

The classes at my home studio are lively and fun to attend. Lunch is supplied, each class day is eight hours, 9am to 5 pm. Gourds and other materials and tools are available. Students come away with the knowledge and confidence to continue on with their own styles of design. Classes offered:

1. Basic Carving, includes relief carving and piercing through.
2. Weaving On Rim, Styles:
  a. Pine Needle
  b. Closed Coiling
  c. Loom Weaving On Rim
  d. Basket Weave
3. Handled Basket
4. Horse-Hair Weaving
